Principle
This product utilizes innovative magnetic bead technology for efficient DNA extraction:
- Lysis and Digestion: The sample undergoes treatment with a special solution (lysate) and an enzyme (protease) to break open cells and degrade proteins, releasing DNA into the lysate.
- Binding to Magnetic Beads: Magnetic particles coated for high DNA affinity are added to the lysate. DNA molecules selectively bind to the surface of these beads, while impurities like proteins remain unbound.
- Washing and Purification: A series of washes with different solutions remove unbound proteins and other cellular debris.
- Elution: A special elution buffer disrupts the interaction between the DNA and the magnetic beads, allowing the purified DNA to be collected in a separate tube.
Advantages
- Economy – less than 50% of the price of Qiagen and other imported products
- Automatic – without labor
- High purity – OD 260 / 280: 1.7-1.9, OD 260 / 230:1.5-2.0

Storage and Stability
Ideal Storage:
- Store Proteinase K, Carrier RNA, and MagPure Particles F in the refrigerator (2-8°C) upon arrival for maximum effectiveness.
Acceptable Short-Term Storage:
- These components can be kept at room temperature (15-25°C) for up to 12 weeks without impacting their performance.
Storing Remaining Components:
- All other kit components can be stored dry at room temperature (15-25°C).
- They will remain stable for at least 18 months under these conditions.
Important Notes:
- If storing the entire kit at 2-8°C, remember to redissolve buffers before use.
- Always ensure all buffers reach room temperature before using them for optimal results.
