Solaire bio Folin-Phénol 1N 100ml

1. Folin-phenol reagent A: (customers need to prepare or use the corresponding kit)

dissolve 1g Na2CO3 in 50mL 0.2moL/L NaOH, then dissolve 0.5g (copper sulfate) CuSO4·5H2O in 100mL 1% potassium sodium tartrate (or sodium tartrate) solution, then mix 50mL of the former with 1mL of the latter, and prepare it now. This reagent can only be used for one day and expires.

2. Folin-phenol reagent B:

The concentration of this reagent is 1moL/L, which is the application solution of the Folin-phenol reagent. Folin-phenol reagent should be sealed and stored in a 4℃ refrigerator away from light.

3. Folin-phenol method determination principle:

Under alkaline conditions, protein reacts with copper to form a protein-copper complex. This complex reduces the reagent phosphomolybdic acid-phosphotungstic acid (FolIn reagent), and the mixture is dark blue (a mixture of phosphomolybdic blue and phosphotungstic blue), and the color depth is proportional to the protein content. This method is easy to operate, and its sensitivity is 100 times higher than that of the biuret method, and the quantitative range is 5 à 100 μg of protein.
