It selectively stains dead tissues or cells blue, leaving live cells or tissues with intact cell membranes uncolored. The solution does not absorb into viable cells due to their selective permeability. しかし, it penetrates the cell membrane of dead cells, causing them to appear blue under the microscope. This method, known as dye exclusion, is commonly employed in microscopy for cell counting.
プロトコル	Collecting Cells: Centrifuge an aliquot of the cell suspension at 1000-2000 の回転数 1 minute and discard the supernatant. Resuspend the cell pellet in PBS.
